As the grand opening of the bakery approached, a local lifestyle magazine reached out to feature Sarah as a rising entrepreneur in the community. During the interview, the journalist casually asked about the inspiration behind the name, "The Flourish."
Sarah could have given a safe, PR-friendly answer. Instead, she chose bravery.
When the magazine hit the stands, Ryan bought ten copies. He sat in his armchair, tears welling in his eyes as he read his wife's words. Sarah had openly discussed her battle with severe postpartum depression. She wrote about the heavy stigma surrounding maternal mental health and the shame that society—and sometimes even family—places on mothers who need medication to survive.

Ryan looked up to see Sarah watching him from the doorway, a nervous but proud smile on her lips. She had taken the very thing Eleanor had tried to use to destroy her and turned it into a beacon of hope for thousands of other women. She had finally taken her power back, utterly and completely.
