Vanessa’s facade shattered. She didn't look like a billionaire’s bride anymore; she looked like a panicked accomplice. She began to back away, her diamonds catching the light as she tripped over her own feet, collapsing into the very spot where she had shoved the child.
"I didn't know!" Vanessa screamed, pointing at Julian. "He told me she was already dead! He said he hired someone to do it!"
